How Eli’s Credit Works

Eli’s App users can add money to their Eli’s Rewards account to pay for future orders at any shop or via mobile order on your app. We call that money, Eli’s Credit.

Credit can be added via the Eli’s App, or at any of our shops.

Note: You do not earn points for adding credit to your account but you will receive points (5 points per $1) for making purchases at any Eli’s shop and paying for the order using credit.

Adding Eli’s Credit from your App

To add credit to your Eli’s Rewards account, tap on the My Credit button on the Home Screen of your app. (see how here)

In the My Credit screen, you’ll see several options for adding money to your account. When you add over $100 in credit at a time, you will receive special rewards:

  • $100 – 20 bonus rewards points
  • $200 – a gift for a free hot or iced coffee, iced tea, or lemonade
  • $300 – $5 more in bonus credit

Once you have selected the option that you’d like to purchase, use the next screens to complete your transaction. You can choose to save multiple credit / debit cards for future transactions so you’ll only need to enter your card information the first time. Once the transaction is complete, you can navigate back to the Home Screen.

Adding Eli’s Credit from a Shop

Credit can also be added to your Eli’s Rewards account at any Eli’s shop. Just ask your Barista to top up the Credit on your account. You can choose to load $25, $50, $75, or $100 at a time. Once loaded, the credit may be used right away for purchases.

Note: The special rewards for loading larger amounts of credit are only available in the Eli’s Rewards app.

Paying with Eli’s Credit

Eli’s Credit can be used to pay for orders from any of our shops in-person, or via a mobile order in your Eli’s app.

In-shop orders

To pay for an in-shop order with Eli’s Credit, simply give your Barista your phone number or Member Code. Let your Barista know you’ll be paying with Eli’s Credit and they will take care of the rest!

If your credit balance does not fully cover your order, your Barista will have you split your payment with another method like cash or card.

Mobile orders

To use Eli’s Credit to pay for a mobile order, select your items, and proceed to the checkout screen. On the checkout screen, you will see an option to Pay with Credit. If you have enough credit, you can pay for the entire order, or split it up and pay the remaining balance with a credit/debit card.

Once your credit payment is complete, you can submit your order.

Transferring a gift card balance to Eli’s Credit

From the My Credit screen, tap the button labeled Transfer Card. Enter the number on the back of your Eli’s gift card, or if you have a digital Eli’s gift card, enter the 12 digit gift number.

Tap the Submit button and the transfer process will start.

Please be aware that transferring a gift card balance can take up to 24 hours. Transferring the balance on a gift card to Eli’s Credit cannot be reversed.

Viewing your Credit

You’ll be able to see your available credit on the Home Screen of the app, near the top of the screen:
