June’s Donation Creation is always a fun one for us because we get to support one of our favorite institutions: libraries! The Morton, Tremont, and Metamora libraries are central fixtures in our communities. They provide a wide range of services for people of all ages but can be an especially great place for kids to explore and learn while on break from school. If you haven’t been to the library in a while, you may not realize just how much they do. Here’s a brief list of some of the benefits that our libraries provide beyond just checking out books:
- Summer reading programs are kicking off at each library in June which is a great way to keep your kids reading and learning when school is out.
- Our libraries have a wide-range of digital content available! You can borrow eBooks, movies, and music all with your library card.
- Each library has a summer schedule that is packed full of programs for kids and adults of all ages!
This month we are featuring the:
Salted Caramel Cupcake Latte
This drink is a glorious confection of salted caramel, English toffee, and cupcake flavors, topped with real whipped cream, and caramel drizzle! This drink can be ordered blended, iced, or hot (if you’re the type that likes hot drinks on hot days 😉). $1 from each drink we sell during the month of June will be donated to the Morton Public Library, Tremont District Library, and the Illinois Prairie District Public Library!
