Our Delivery Driver forms a critical link between our production space at the Eli’s HUB and our shops. Delivery Drivers are responsible for ensuring that our food, dry goods, coffee, and more are safely distributed out to each Eli’s location on a twice-weekly schedule.
Responsibilities
- Prepare orders for deliveries out to our shops. This includes picking items from a packing list, sorting them into totes, and loading them onto the delivery truck.
- Driving to each shop, unloading the delivery for our team, and re-loading empty totes back onto the truck.
- Unloading empty totes from our truck.
- General cleanup and truck care.
- Complete any other duties as assigned by HUB Manager or owners.
Requirements
- Be a genuinely happy person, joyful to serve our customers in a way that’s felt but not directly seen.
- A CDL is not required, but experience operating delivery vans, box trucks, or other similar vehicles is preferred.
- Some commercial delivery experience is preferred.
- Ability to work part-time on Monday and Thursday each week.
- Physical ability to lift a minimum of seventy five pounds.
- Able to work outside and in an environment that requires lots of physical activity.
