This month, we want to highlight the local groups in our communities that help ensure that everyone has something to eat over the Christmas season. Because of that, our Donation Creation this December is a little different. Instead of making our donation to just one organization, we’re making this Donation Creation about the local food pantries and distributors right in our hometowns.
- Donations from the Morton shop will be going to the Morton branch of the Midwest Food Bank. They collect and distribute food at no cost to non-profits throughout our area.
- Donations from the Tremont shop will be going to the Tremont Food Pantry. They provide food to families and individuals in town and are getting ready to move into a new home at the Tremont Community Share Closet!
- Donations from the Metamora shop will be going to the Open Arms Food Pantry which serves the hungry in town by offering food with no strings attached.
If you’d like to learn more about these groups, you can visit their websites or social media pages. They’re always looking for volunteers and donations!
This month we are featuring the:
Candy Cane Mocha
The Candy Cane Mocha is a festive creation of white and dark chocolate with peppermint, topped with real whipped cream, crushed peppermint sticks, and dark chocolate drizzle!
