This month, we want to highlight the local groups in our communities that help ensure that everyone has something to eat over the Christmas season. Because of that, our Donation Creation this December is a little different. Instead of making our donation to just one organization, we’re making this Donation Creation about the local food pantries right in our hometowns.
- Donations from the Morton shop will be going to Community Harvest. They serve residents of Tazewell County every Saturday from their location in Trinity Church in Morton.
- Donations from the Tremont shop will be going to the Tremont Food Pantry. They provide food to families and individuals in Tremont from their facility inside the Share Closet building
- Donations from the Metamora shop will be going to the Open Arms Food Pantry which serves the hungry in town by offering food with no strings attached.
If you’d like to learn more about these groups, you can visit their websites or social media pages. They’re always looking for volunteers and donations!
With no indoor dining in our shops at the moment, we thought it would be fun to fill the extra space with a food drive for these incredible organizations! Throughout the whole month, bring by any non-perishable food items, paper products, etc to our shops and put them in the designated boxes.
This month we are featuring the:
Candy Cane Mocha
The Candy Cane Mocha is a festive creation of white and dark chocolate with peppermint, topped with real whipped cream, crushed peppermint sticks, and dark chocolate drizzle!
