June Donation Creation

Sip on a Waffle Cone Latte in June to support your local library!

This month we are featuring the:

Waffle Cone Latte

Summer means ice cream + a good book by the pool! We tried to capture all the goodness of a perfect waffle cone with its toasted brown sugar, vanilla, and spice goodness into a latte for you! And of course the best waffle cones are dipped in chocolate, so expect that in there too! It gets topped with whipped cream and rainbow jimmy sprinkles for that classic ice cream cone finish.

$1 from each Waffle Cone Latte sold during the month of June will be donated to the Morton Public Library, Tremont District Library, Illinois Prairie District Public Library, and the Mackinaw District Public Library!

June’s Donation Creation is always a fun one for us because we get to support one of our favorite institutions: libraries! The Morton, Tremont, Metamora, and Mackinaw public libraries are gathering places in our communities. They provide a wide range of services for people of all ages but can be an especially great place for kids to explore and learn while on break from school. If you haven’t been to the library in a while, you may not realize just how much they do. Here’s a brief list of some of the benefits that our libraries provide beyond just checking out books:

  • Summer reading programs are kicking off at each library in May + June, which is a great way to keep you + your kids reading and learning when school is out.
  • Our libraries have a wide-range of digital content available! You can borrow eBooks, movies, and music for free, all with your library card.
  • Each library has a summer schedule that is packed full of programs for kids and adults of all ages!
